Possible Impossible Pavilion

Possible Impossible Pavilion

Possible Impossible Pavilion

Saint James Church Garden, EC1R 0LT

In the Possible Impossible Pavilion, commissioned for Clerkenwell Design Week 2024 in partnership with Build-Lite, Peter Morris has created an architectural sculpture which explores ideas around possibility and impossibility.

It uses Stone-Coat to create a joyful structure which would be costly and difficult to make using traditional building materials. Stone-Coat is an ultra-light polystyrene-based imitation stone, which can be hotwire-cut into any shape.

Peter’s using this product to create arches everywhere on his own self-build, a pink and curvy building called The Cloud House which is currently under construction in Gospel Oak, and being filmed for Grand Designs.
