Please note that companies are targeting exhibitors to offer the chance to purchase Clerkenwell Design Week visitor data. Clerkenwell Design Week does not sell its data to third parties and has no affiliation with any of these companies. We would advise you to ignore them and not make contact with them.
Companies such as International Fairs Directory, Expo-Guide and Fairguide.com are also targeting exhibitors to pay for adverts or listings as part of a scam and misleading directory service. Both companies use a misleading form, which resembles an organiser’s Free Catalogue Listing Service, inviting exhibitors to sign and return the form for an entry in an on-line directory. Doing so contracts the purchaser into the three-year, non-retractable agreement. Non-payment is then followed by aggressive debt collecting by Premium Recovery.
We would like to make it clear that Clerkenwell Design Week has absolutely no formal business relationship or agreement in place with any of these companies.
They are not an official supplier of Clerkenwell Design Week nor of any exhibition organised by Media 10. If you are contacted by this company and if they claim to be working with any of our shows, we would suggest that you ignore them and report it to your local trading standards agency.
You can find out more about exhibition related scams on the Association of Event Organiser’s website.
