Greetings from the Republic of Beer!
Since 1895, Budweiser Budvar has brewed the finest Czech lager in the world, using local ingredients and aged to perfection in our cellars in České Budějovice, South Bohemia. As the national brewery of the Czech Republic, they are owned by the Czech people.
They use only four ingredients: whole-cone Saaz hops, Moravian malt, our heritage yeast and pure soft water, drawn from an Ice Age aquifer 300m underneath their brewery. They mature their beer up to seven times longer than most breweries, which gives their lager its deep and distinctively Czech taste.
The Czech Republic has one of the greatest beer cultures in the world, which you can experience with every sip of Budweiser Budvar.
