Christian Gordon-Pullar
Christian Gordon-Pullar is a seasoned intellectual asset manager, global IP strategist and information technology (IT) specialist, who has served as a Board member for numerous investment companies and banking subsidiaries and as General Counsel or Head of IP for financial institutions such as Standard Chartered Bank and JP Morgan, as well as healthcare or tech venture capital startups. Christian is an experienced Mentor, NED and Board and corporate adviser. Christian is a recognised IAM 300 Global Intellectual property strategist (2020-2024 inclusive) with business experience as head of human capital and as COO and CEO for a Banking subsidiary. Christian has held roles as main Board director of healthcare and investment companies and as a Non-Executive Directorship for BRAND FINANCE PLC.
He is currently Executive Chairman of Fox Robotics Ltd in England. Christian is a member of Sagacious IP’s Global “Future of IP” Advisory Council, consults as an IP strategist and as an adviser to investment firms acquiring IP assets. From 2019-2020, he was the Managing Director, Head of IP Solutions, EMEA at Aon where he built the EMEA business.
Having focused on pharmaceutical, technology, ecommerce and music litigation early in his career and on banking, finance and fintech and healthcare VC start-ups for the last 19 years, Christian has over 30 years of expertise in M&A, brand, fintech, AI and IP / data monetisation strategies. Over those 30 years, Christian spent 18 years in Asia and 7 years as a solicitor in England. He has served as Head of Legal for Consumer Banking, Intellectual Property and Technology at Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) where he also held roles as COO and CEO, Director and as General Counsel and advised main Board directors, and at JP Morgan, where he was Head of IP and IT Legal for Asia Pacific.
Christian’s mother tongues are English and Romanian; he speaks French and Italian fluently and writes both to a professional standard and has conversant skills in written and spoken Spanish.
Christian lectures at University of Reading, and at Henley Business Angels on innovation and investment readiness. Christian is a practising Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (currently on the roll).
