#CDWUnlocked sponsor, Central District Alliance (previously known as Midtown BID) is the new name for the Business Improvement District (BID) for Holborn and Clerkenwell. It is a partnership between their members, local authorities and the third sector.

Central District Alliance prides itself in working in partnership with our members, our community, Camden Council and Islington Council, Transport for London (TfL) and the third sector. As a facilitator, custodian, ambassador and champion, above all we strive to be collaborative and inclusive.

In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Central District Alliance BID Board and Executive Management met to review the BID’s priorities and objectives in order to establish how to best support its members in such uncertain times.

The RISE strategy seeks to:

Renew: : Establish a sustainable and revitalised Central District through collaboration and partnerships, supporting their members on a sector-by-sector basis.

Invigorate: Give businesses, employees, staff and visitors confidence to return to Central District, emphasising it as a vibrant, safe and welcoming district.

Support: Provide assistance and advice reflective of their strength as the voice for business and a champion of local communities.

Evolve: Work towards securing central and local government support, including funding towards new public realm opportunities, and building a wide base of support to create social value for the communities in which they operate.

Taking place 6-8 July, CDW Unlocked is a three day celebration of design showrooms across EC1. The event will be jam-packed with engaging content, helping to facilitate the much-needed return of architects, designers, buyers, and specifiers to the showrooms in the area.
