Cosentino’s DEKTON Drop Boxes
Introducing Cosentino’s Dekton Drop Boxes! Letter box style bins will be clad in the revolutionary, carbon neutral surface Dekton Trilium, and placed in and around Clerkenwell. Cosentino is encouraging all visitors to post their used maps so they can be re-purposed for a creative initiative led by the Cosentino London Showroom team. Each box will include a description of the project, together with a QR code form which will enter visitors into a luxury prize draw. The concept is being led by sustainability to ensure the used maps are utilised rather than being discarded after the festival. The drop boxes will be located on the maps themselves, at the following drop-points; Projects, Design Fields, Detail, Change and Farringdon Station.
After Clerkenwell Design Week, Cosentino will be collaborating with a sustainable artist to upcycle the material collected into a paper mâché sculpture. An event will then be hosted in its City Showroom throughout the summer to exhibit what has been created – then moving on to a display at the Museum of London.
