. Similarly to the pearl - the most perfect and rare form to be found in nature - so is the sphere: it punctuates each element of the collection becoming the emblem of purity and the product of a deep research. After over two years of studies, that same research led Gessi to explore the best “Made in Italy” materials to be enhanced in its creations, with the aim of customizing the most intimate space of one’s home. Therefore, to enhance these precious materials, the perfect shape of the pearl was introduced: the sphere led to the conception of this new collection which - inspired by the charming and soft jewelry pearls - wants to transfer the same tactile and aesthetic feel of everyday life, to an ergonomic and functional use.
The Gessi Haute Culture approach has driven the company's interior designers to embrace architecture, art, fashion and craftsmanship, translating the Italian know-how into a new cultural approach that passes on into the future the high skills that otherwise risk being lost: from the timeless craftsmanship of Murano glass to the manual processing of marble, from the synthetic materials of jewelry and fashion accessories and from the semi-precious stones up to the typical metals of the manufacturing industry. Spheres - each one different form one another - are enhanced by real pedestal and geometric lines inspired by different trends of the Italian design: a sculptural shape interacts with the pearl in a game of sections and spherical/hemispherical elements combined with each other in quite an indescribable harmony and balance, when not seen and touched in person. This is all because GESSI experimentation always focuses on the person.
