Making furniture has a big impact on people and the planet. Teknion worked steadily to minimize the footprint of our company and products, to reduce and reverse negative impacts—fully aware there is no single answer, no solution without trade-offs.
Sustainability is a journey, a process that allows us to engage with big ideas and complex problems as part of an ongoing challenge. Sustainability is intrinsic to our culture, it’s our passion, and a part of who we are and what we do. We consider carefully how we design, make, and ship our products, making every effort to trace materials and conserve energy, to design-out waste and build-in longevity.
