The design of the furniture series WAFFLES has grown out of modular principles aimed to facilitate reuse as well as diversified use of the same pieces of furniture over time. With WAFFLES, only 2 types of furniture parts become a bookshelf, a coffee table or a bed, all based on the users needs at a specific point in time. The WAFFLES parts are made out of Swedish wood and have very little environmental impact. The design is a result of our ambitions to update todays furniture design and make furniture assembly and disassembly fast and easy with no need for screws or tools. During CDW 2024 we will present the design protected WAFFLES furniture design - the new Swedish flatpack, - to the public for the very first time.
