From our humble beginnings producing particleboard and melamine-faced panels, Kronospan’s North Wales facility has grown into the UK’s leading manufacturer of wood-based panels. We now produce a diverse range of products, including MDF, tongue-and-groove flooring for the building trade, laminate flooring, and worktops. As the longest-established wood-based panel manufacturer and the only laminate flooring producer in the UK, we are proud of our legacy of innovation and quality.

Sustainability at the Core
All products manufactured at our Chirk facility are made using a mix of recycled and locally sourced UK timber. Each board we produce locks in carbon, reducing emissions and supporting a sustainable cycle of growth and renewal. Fully recyclable, our products ensure carbon remains locked in as new trees are planted to absorb even more CO₂.
