Nest
A coffee table measuring 980mm in octaganal diameter (other sizes and timbers are available on request). 'Nest' refers to the nest like aesthetic of the reciprocal sturcture with 8 fumed Oak legs carved to have a twist running from the floor up to the glass top.The way the legs interlock references the build technology used in the self-supporting reciprocal roofs also known as Mandala roofs. Modern day yurts still use this construction technique but the Mandala roof was first referenced in Chinese architecture as early as the 12th century.
