The intention of this project is to create lights with personas. When we emotionally-connect with objects we will naturally keep them for longer. Art is an proven example.

The longer a product is used we slow down the rate of which products are thrown away, lessening the environmental impact.

If “light bulbs” have personality what would they be like?

CHOISI employs design-methods that create deeper layers of meaningful semantics that most mass-produced products lack. By adding layers of emotional-value a product’s life span can outlast its price and basic utilitarian value.
