A modular recycling bin designed by Annica Doms. Awarded the Red Dot Design Award and the German Design Award for its innovative form. Designed for modular building in different constellations. Kite fits against a wall or as a free-standing accent in the room.

The many possible combinations challenge the imagination and inspire creativity. Lids in eight different designs with varying hole designs and screen-printed symbols for different types of waste. Kite is available in eleven RAL colours with lids in three standard colours, white, anthracite and olive grey. Kite has a capacity of 70 litres, adapted for 85-125 litre waste bags.

Sustainability and materials

CO2 per unit 58.2 kg CO2 eq. The lid’s MDF meets the formaldehyde requirements E1 and TSCA Title VI / CARB2. MDF from certified forestry. The frame in powder-coated steel plate is manufactured in Sweden and consists of 20% of recycled material. The steel is 100% recyclable. The powder coating of the frame is a good environmental choice as no solvents are required.
