Teknion Corporation and Koncept Lighting Announce Strategic Partnership to Deliver Comprehensive Lighting Solutions for Modern Workspaces

Teknion Stand: Teknion

Teknion Corporation, a global leader in workplace furniture design and manufacturing, is proud to announce its renewed partnership with Koncept Lighting, an award-winning innovator in lighting solutions. Through this partnership, Teknion and Koncept will introduce four new lighting solutions: Focaccia, Lady7, Mr. n, and Yurei.

Teknion and Koncept’s relationship began in 2010, marking a significant milestone in improving office environments with comprehensive lighting solutions that prioritize functionality, aesthetics, and user experience. Quality lighting can elevate the office experience, boosting productivity and creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere. It also plays a key role in defining the purpose and mood of a space, enhancing its overall ambiance. "In any space focused on people, office lighting is a vital ingredient, shaping atmosphere, productivity, and well-being, while highlighting architectural features and enhancing overall aesthetics; it cannot be overlooked in achieving a harmonious and functional environment," said Brendan Rooney, Senior Product Manager at Teknion.

"Koncept will assist in ensuring our portfolio addresses every aspect of modern office lighting, spanning from task to floor to ambient illumination, while also considering its ergonomic impact on productivity, whether for focused work or collaboration and virtual meetings," Rooney added. Teknion's commitment to innovation and user-centric design perfectly aligns with Koncept Lighting's mission to create dynamic and engaging work environments through lighting solutions.

Focaccia is a versatile and contemporary task lighting solution available in Desk, Solo, and Floor models, featuring a slim and flexible body design, with a diffused square head for a concentrated light source with tighter illumination control. Sporting a wispy-thin silhouette, Lady7 provides a striking yet energy-efficient linear light source, automatically shutting off after 9 hours. A distinctive LED table or accent lamp that fits any interior environment or style, Mr. n features a unique, arch-shaped design that utilizes advanced light panel technology. Drawing inspiration from the Japanese word for ghost, Yurei is a new lighting solution featuring unique transparent polymer light shades that add a touch of mystique and style to any commercial or residential interiors.

"We believe that lighting is essential in creating dynamic and engaging work environments," added Kenneth Ng, CEO of Koncept Lighting. "By collaborating with Teknion, we are poised to deliver holistic solutions that empower organizations to thrive in the ever-evolving workplace."

This partnership between Teknion Corporation and Koncept Lighting represents a significant step forward in advancing the future of workplace design, underscoring their shared commitment to innovation, sustainability, and user-centricity. Koncept's complete portfolio of products, previewed at Design Days in Chicago in June 2024, will be available to Teknion clients through the Teknion dealer distribution network starting in September 2024.
